i finished reading To Kill A Mockingbird today! woohoo!
so i can start writing that darn speech(URGH!)
had Flag Day yesterday..it was SOOO FUN
we were psycho-ing Si Han to watch Twilight with us instead of with her friennds..
too bad we couldn't psycho her into going with us...
why must there be so many trainings during the period when Twilight comes out?! so annoying!
i want to get the twilight soundtrack...i think it should be in shops already...
i hope-eee hope-eee hope so!
anwyay...about Flag Day yesterday...
Ying Ling...Xiao Quan and I did Flag Day together at Bedok..
after doing 5 hours of Flag Day
i discovered that:
1. small kids psycho their parents into donating cuz they want the sticker(flag)
Example:
small kid says,"Mummy Mummy! i want sticker!"
mother says,"okay" *shuffle for wallet*
2. most donators are senior citizens
3. LUNCH TIME CROWD PEOPLE ARE STINGY
yepp yepp!
ooh ooh! there was this aunty who emptied ALL her coins into my tin...
MUAHAHA!
so my tin went JINGLE-JINGLE
teehee!
and there was this guy who only had a one-dollar coin but was slightly reluctant to give it up cuz he wanted to eat ban mian when he had a 5 dollar note in his wallet...he went like "i want to eat ban mian!" to his friend
super funny...so the 3 of us were joking about eating ban mian for lunch
when we first saw this volunteer guy who briefed us i started laughing like shit.
i dunno why...
maybe it was cuz his hair made him look super funny?
i dunno...but Ying Ling thought i lost it
so i guess i'll have to stop here...
